Product Description:
JK polyethylene powder coatings is an inorganic antibacterial agent, which is harmless to human body and has excellent antibacterial, safety and durability.
Application Field:
Suitable for various wire mesh products, such as shelves in refrigerators and coolers, medical facilities, kitchen supplies, medical appliances, outdoor recreation facilities, office supplies, and so on.
Powder coatings Properties:
Dry fluidity: fluidization floating ≥20%
Non-volatile content: ≥99.5%
Specific gravity: 0.91-0.95 (different colors, different results)
Particle size distribution: ≤300um
Melt index: 5-50 g/10min (2.16kg, 190℃), which is depending on the workpiece to be coated and the process.
Storage:
Store in a ventilated, dry warehouse below 35℃ to prevent proximity to fire and heat sources.
The storage period is two years from the date of production.
Products after the expiration period should be re-tested and used after qualified. In addition, it is recommended to use the product to follow the first in, first out principle.
Packing: Composite kraft paper bag, 25 kg/bag.
Instruction:
The preheating temperature of the workpiece is 250-350 ℃, which can be adjusted according to the heat capacity (i.e. metal thickness) of the workpiece.
Fluidized bed immersion coating for 4-8 seconds [adjustable according to metal thickness and workpiece shape].
Plasticization at 180-250 ℃ for 0-5 minutes, and the plasticizer process after heating is beneficial for obtaining a smooth coating.
Cooling: Natural cooling or air cooling.
Hygiene & Safety:
Though powder coating is a non-toxic product, but dust inhalation should be avoided during use. Operators are recommended to wear appropriate dust masks and glasses.
Caution:
The ideal heating temperature should be determined through testing, taking into account the customer's preferred metal thickness and coating facilities. Excessive heating can lead to film aging and discoloration. On the contrary, if the temperature is too low, it may lead to film and surface roughness, resulting in defects.
When designing the substrate, ensure that sharp parts are grounded and there are no gaps in welding. Additionally, the metal thickness and wire diameter in the workpiece should be closely matched to achieve the desired effect.
Lastly, it is important to avoid using these powders with other products.
Like all polymer powders, powder coating, especially under flowing conditions, can catch fire or ignite when exposed to high temperatures or flames.
