Production Description:
ND powder coatings are a high-quality option for advanced building decoration and protection. Made from ultra-durable polyester resins, curing agent, and pigment, these coatings are designed to last for at least 15 years.
Appearance & Package:
The appearance of the coatings can vary, with options including smooth surfaces, sanding, and hammer effects.
As for color, most RAL colors are available, and customization is also possible.
Each carton contains 20KG of powder coating, securely packaged in a double PE-bag.
Physical Parameters:
The physical parameters of the coatings include a specific gravity ranging from 1.2 to 1.7, depending on the gloss and color.
Particle size, always less than 160μm.
Dry flow ability falls between 120 and 160.
Substrate & Preparation:
ND powder coatings are suitable for various substrates, such as aluminum profiles and sheets, metal or galvanized metal sheets, and indoor equipment.
To achieve optimal performance, proper pretreatment of the substrate is essential, following the guidelines of GB / T 9271 or ISO 1514. In high preservative environments rated C4 or above, a special preservative primer can be used.
Curing Condition :
The curing process can be carried out using infrared, gas, thermal convection drying path, oven, or other methods.
However, when using a gas oven, it is important to note that the combustion by-product may alter the color of the film.
Recommended curing conditions include an object temperature of 200-210℃ and a time of 10-15 minutes.
Instruction:
When applying the powder coating, it is crucial not to mix it with other products.
Additionally, proper pretreatment of the substrate is necessary. Both manual and automatic electrostatic spraying methods can be used.
The film thickness should be determined based on the geometry and requirements of the coated object, and its performance should be evaluated when the thickness is less than 60μm.
Storage :
When storing the powder coatings, it is important to keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fire sources, and heat. The storage life is 6 months from the production date.
Safety Precautions:
Safety precautions should be taken when handling the product, as the dust is a respiratory irritant. Inhalation and skin contact should be avoided, and any contact with the skin should be washed with soap and water. In case of eye contact, immediate rinsing with water and medical attention are necessary. It is important to prevent the accumulation of dust and powder on surfaces and to ensure that all equipment is electrically grounded to prevent static build-up.
