Product Description

Heat transfer printing powder coatings is known as thermal transfer powder coating. The generally component material are Epoxy Polyester/Polyester / Polyurethane.

This process is a sublimation process, which is a double chemical transition of the pattern from a transfer paper or film to a substrate that is precoated with a special powder that serves as the base color for this sublimation. Through this sublimation process, countless effects and patterns are presented. The coating is flexible non-stick paper, and the prefabricated steel is coated with the product before later forming. Application field of furniture, general industry, building construction.


Appearance & Package:

Appearance effects: wood grain, granite, marble, and granite, and the pictures can be transferred to the matrix surface.

Colour: This collection is available in a variety of colors, gloss, finishes, and shapes.

Packing: 20KG per carton. Carton box with double PE-bag.


Physical Parameters:

Particle size: Suitable for electrostatic spraying

Specific gravity: 1.2-1.7g/cm3 up to colors


Curing Condition :

Curing schedule(object temp.):180℃/10-15minutes;200℃/6-10minutes;


Storage :

Store in a cool place (30℃), in a dry warehouse, to prevent direct sunlight, should be isolated from the fire source, far away from the heat source. Storage life is 12 months from the date of production.


Heat Transfer Process:

To apply the heat transfer process, the following equipment and materials are required.

  • A special transfer device

  • A special heat transfer powder coating to be sprayed and cured in a coating device.

  • Heat transfer paper or film (carrying a paper or plastic film with the desired effect printed with a special sublimation ink.


Flow of work:

1) Coating process: The heat transfer powder coating process is used in the standard coating unit, including three different steps: pretreatment, spraying powder, and curing. Coating serves as the bed for the sublimation ink.

2) Package transfer film: After cool the coating, wrap with transfer film. The air will be vacuum from the inside to allow the film to adhere perfectly to the object.

3) Curing: Running at high temperatures (between 200°C and 230°C), the film-wrapped and vacuum object moves and solidifies in a special oven where the sublimation ink is transferred from the transfer film to the coating of the object.

4) Remove film: After the curing time, remove the object from the oven and remove the film that now has no sublimation ink.

5) Ready: Items are now fully decorated and ready for other processes (such as door and window cutting assembly) or delivery to the packaging unit.
